Abba On The Web

As an Abba fan who uses the internet frequently I think the Abba experience can be dramatically improved if all Abba fans, Abba website webmasters and mailing list owners could work together to improve the web experience. So in a spirit of co-operation these are my suggestions for improving Abba on the web.

1. Webrings :

1. Combine all the web rings with Abba Related Material and just have one or perhaps two.
2. All Abba websites should be encouraged to join the webring. At the moment the two biggest Abba Webrings are The Ring Ring and Absolute Abba rings. However Ring Ring is not currently accepting new applications so I would recommend you join the Absolute ABBA Webring .

2. Mailing Lists :

1. There are many Abba Mailing lists on the net. A lot of them are not well supported. Again lets combine them all into a few well supported mail lists.
2. Encourage all Abba fans, webmasters etc to join the mailing list.
3. For the time being I would like to do my bit by promoting the 2 of the biggest mailing lists here. Please join both if you are interested in Abba. For a full list of ABBA mailing lists visit the mailing list directory.

3. Abba Search Engine :

1. Lets create an Abba site search engine.

4. Improve Websites :

1. How many sites do we see with non co-ordinated link pages, abba shop classified ads with nothing in them and forums or discussion boards with no comments. So to improve the Abba web experience and Abba sites lets combine all our FFA pages, classified ad, Forums and Chat rooms into one and add them to all our sites.

To start of, this Abba Forum can be added to any Abba related site and you can customise it to fit in with your own site. Lets start by adding this forum to all our sites.
